I am an associate professor at Guangdong Cardiovascular institute (Top 3-4 in cardiovascular subject in China) of Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital (Top 27 in China). I work at the Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and 3D Technologies for Cardiovascular Diseases as a co-director. The lab director is Jian Zhuang, previous dean of Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital.
I was a post-doc researcher at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of University of Notre Dame with
Prof. Yiyu Shi from 2016 to 2019.
I received my Ph.D. degree and B.S. degree from the Department of Electronic Science and Technology at
Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2016 and 2011 under supervision of Prof. Yu Hu and Prof. Xuecheng Zou, respectively.
I have been a visiting scholar to University of Alberta (Canada) for three months and to State University of New York at Buffalo for one year during my PhD studies.
My research interests focus on AI for cardiovascular diseases including deep learning, and medical image processing.
I have several papers about hardware optimization and deep learning on top conferences including CVPR, AAAI, MICCAI, MIDL, ISBI, DAC, ICCAD,
and top-journals including TPAMI, MIA, TMI, TCAD, TBioCAS, Nature Electronics, and Nature Machine Intelligence.
Our team focuses on applying deep learning to clinic applications of cardiovascular diseases. We are collecting a massive of medical data from our hospital for research. Feel free to contact me if you are interested in this topic.
Our team is currently recruiting professors (assistant professor, associate professor and professor), post-doctoral fellows and research assistants for medical image analysis. Feel free to contact me if you are interested in working in a high-level hospital.
